Stone Lions

They are placed in the temple forecourt. Two carved stone lions, representing a male and a female, are positioned at the entrance of the temple. The male lion is depicted holding a ball beneath its paw, while the female lion restrains a small cub. These stone lions were donated by the Hui Zhou clan In traditional Chinese architectural symbolism, stone lions are believed to safeguard sacred spaces and ward off evil spirits.
